I'm looking for a Billing Specialist :

You will be instrumental in overseeing the end-to-end billing cycle for project-related activities, from tracking billable work to issuing invoices and monitoring cash collection. The role requires a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual and accounting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue client invoices based on various billing structures (time-based, fixed-price, or milestone-driven), ensuring consistency with agreements and project status
- Contribute to project accounting activities, including tracking work in progress, supporting cut-off processes, and assisting with accruals and deferrals
- Review financial and operational data to detect inconsistencies in billable items and resolve them before invoicing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address billing queries, monitor project budgets, and ensure proper allocation of time and expenses
- Support accounts receivable activities, including cash allocation, account reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate data within financial systems and contribute to improving billing workflows and processes

- 2-4+ years of experience in billing, receivables, or project-based accounting, ideally in a service-oriented environment
- Good understanding of core accounting concepts, including revenue recognition and accruals
- Experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with widely used financial platforms is an advantage
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with cross-functional teams
