I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of placements: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.

I am currently seeking an Accounting Technician for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent position with a hybrid work arrangement.

Mission

- Maintain the general ledger, including entering routine journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable in an international context, interacting in English with partners outside Quebec
- Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, including international financial institutions
- Prepare and file tax returns (GST/QST) across Canada
- Contribute to monthly general ledger account reconciliations
- Participate in various ad hoc projects, particularly those related to improving systems and technological tools

Your profile

- Ability to perform reconciliations and validate financial data with precision
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, team player, and interest in continuous improvement and cross-functional projects
- Degree in accounting or a related field (preferred)
- Approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of an ERP system (e.g., SAP) is considered an asset
- Functional English proficiency required for professional communications
