Join our National Corporate Financing & Senior Accounts team. Learn to prepare reports, organize client information and assist with the loan approval process and legal documentation review. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of preparing credit submissions for complex customers by contributing to credit analysis, assessing risk and using your understanding of the customer’s business to provide appropriate credit recommendations. Working under the mentorship of experienced Senior Loans Analysts, you'll gain exposure to the fundamentals of corporate lending, including learning about deal narratives, client negotiations and loan structures. The work term is May to August 2026 (four-month term).
What you'll do
- Receive hands-on experience in corporate lending
- Gain exposure to corporate deal structures
- Look for opportunities to build a loan portfolio
- Gain valuable insight into corporate lending transactions and risk analysis
What we're looking for
- A second or third-year university student with a solid foundation in finance or accounting
- A drive to learn and succeed
- Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills

- A multi-tasker who can make informed decisions and solve problems
What you'll need
- Enrolment in a program for a degree in business or commerce with a focus in finance, accounting, economics or mathematics
- A strong understanding of financial statements and how to apply them in real-world situations
- Completion of at least one year of your post-secondary degree program
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
