How you’ll make an impact

As a champion of Agile practices, you’ll help teams reflect, adapt and continuously improve. Drawing on your experience as a mentor and coach, you’ll develop individuals and teams through training, coaching and mindset-shifting conversations that reinforce Agile principles. As an educator at heart, you’ll simplify complex concepts and promote a culture of learning - encouraging creativity, transparency and collaboration in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. You’ll play a key role in removing impediments and inspiring teams to self-organize and work seamlessly together.

What you’ll do

  • Champion Agile practices by coaching, mentoring, and training cross-functional teams to embrace Scrum, Kanban, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with diverse domain teams, blending business and technical expertise to deliver value effectively
  • Facilitate impactful events, meetings, and workshops at team and divisional levels to foster alignment and agility
  • Partner with Product Owners and teams to design innovative processes that enhance value delivery
  • Proactively remove or escalate impediments to maintain momentum across teams and divisions
  • Assess Agile maturity and provide actionable feedback to guide growth and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement of Agile practices across domains within the division
  • Onboard and mentor fellow Scrum Masters

What you’ll bring to the team

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, education, social science or psychology
  • Minimum eight years of experience in Agile delivery, technology, innovation or a related field
  • Experience mentoring and coaching other Scrum Masters and Product Owners, including onboarding, training and developing coaching plans
  • Advanced expertise in Scrum and Kanban with proven outcomes improving flow
  • Practical experience running core Scrum events (daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews/demos, retrospectives) with documented outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence behaviours beyond frameworks or checklists
  • Experience analyzing and resolving a wide range of impediments that are strategic, divisional or technical in nature
  • Proven systematic impediment management experience across team and organizational levels, quantifying impact and driving resolution
  • Research-informed exposure to Agile practices in diverse contexts (technology, innovation or similar environments)
  • Hands-on experience applying Design Thinking principles and techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism (English and French)
  • Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks and pragmatic application in large organizations
  • Knowledge of FCC business processes and agriculture lending practices
