Microscopy Analyst - Grand Falls/Woodstock, NB
AIR is a Canadian company offering a preventive detection service for agricultural fungal diseases. The program allows producers to better manage the use of pesticides by following the principle of sustainable agriculture. In collaboration with the environmental analysis laboratory Lab’Eau-Air-Sol.
The analyst position, under the supervision of the head-microbiologist of Lab’Eau-Air-Sol, consists of performing microbiological analyses according to the established sequence. The analyst plays a central role in the success of the program and becomes a key player in our mandate to contribute to the safeguarding of the environment and to a healthier and more sustainable agriculture. The analyst is responsible for a specific region assigned to him, and in particular for:
- Analyze samples on cassettes by microscopy
- Proceed with the required identifications
- Transmit data for report writing
- Ensures the supply of equipment for samplers in the territory
- Possibility of joining the samplers in the field, if desired.
Support and training, developed by Lab’Eau-Air-Sol, are offered in-house to meet the requirements of the AIR program. All of this is done in a 2 to 3 training session.

Working conditions
- Schedule 15-20 hours per week
