Description
More specifically, your duties will include:
-Installing and repairing electrical systems, appliances, and electrical and electronic components in industrial machinery and equipment
-Installing power wiring and conduits for newly installed machinery and equipment
-Performing and assisting with preventive maintenance and overhauls to ensure the reliability of systems and equipment
-Connect power wires to machinery and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machinery and equipment
-Diagnose malfunctioning devices, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables
-Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss the malfunction with the VP of Operations and the President to diagnose the malfunction and determine possible solutions
-Diagnose and repair or replace defective electrical components of the machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and position detection devices
-Diagnose and replace defective mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
-Perform plumbing tasks as needed (install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and waste disposal in accordance with environmental norms, standards, and procedures—check with the lab technician when necessary
-Perform standard preventive maintenance on facilities and machinery, according to the maintenance schedule
-Ensure that the ventilation system is properly maintained and operating at optimal capacity at all times
-Perform other related duties as required
(All of the above tasks will be performed in accordance with electrical codes, manuals, diagrams, plans, and other specifications, using hand tools, voltage testers, power tools, and electrical and electronic testing equipment)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (overtime as needed—until 5:30 p.m.)
