We are looking to recruit a full-time production assistant for our long-standing client, a manufacturing company specialising in the production of cardboard tubes for various industrial sectors. Job Summary:
The Operator Assistant/Production Worker supports the operator through the various stages of cardboard tube manufacturing. They are involved in product handling, basic adjustments, and mandrel preparation, as well as in maintaining a safe workspace that complies with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Tasks based on existing internal job descriptions:
- Place cardboard tubes of varying weights onto pallets in accordance with procedures.
- Collaborate in the manufacture of tubes and assist the operator with their daily tasks.
- Assemble reels with a core made of cardboard tubes.
- Help the operator with core changes and certain machine adjustments.
- Maintain a high output rate and keep pace with production.
- Keep your work area clean at all times and assist with general factory tasks.
- Strictly adhere to quality and health and safety guidelines.
- Carry out any other related tasks necessary for the smooth running of production.
