A well-established and internationally active industrial company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our team in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting both daily accounting operations and more advanced financial processes including month-end, year-end, audit support, and forecasting. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial analyses including:
• Sales reporting
• Production and service variances
• Cash flow analysis and forecasting
• Commissions and rebates
• Stock in transit
• Ad hoc management requests
• Support day-to-day accounting operations
• Participate actively in month-end and year-end closing processes:
• Prepare journal entries
• Analyze and reconcile provisions
• Review accrued liabilities and prepayments
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
• Maintain and support internal controls by collaborating closely with AR, AP, operations, and purchasing
• Investigate unusual transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Comfortable working with integrated ERP systems
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
• Demonstrated rigor, autonomy, initiative, and strong team collaboration skills
