This role is accountable for the overall planning development and delivery to plan of projects including the analysis, design, technical specifications and route selection for the regional pipe and station portfolios. Projects vary from managing small requests from the field to leading complicated projects including district station replacements, pipe related reinforcements, relocations, and replacements. What you will do:
Determine size, material, and placement of new main installations in new and existing neighborhoods. Determine design parameters for all new district stations and stations being rebuilt.
Work with other departments to complete analysis, design, technical specifications, drafting, and permitting for all subdivisions, main extensions, multi-family dwellings, reinforcements, relocations, and replacements.
Contribute to construction schedule prioritization of projects by working collaboratively with Construction counterparts and coordinating projects in time and cost-effective manner.
Responsible to work with internal/external partners (Engineering, Operations, municipalities, developers, etc.) to design and complete internal projects and support external projects to ensure the integrity and safety of the Enbridge infrastructure.
Serve as a key contact for field staff and provide accurate planning record information, network analysis, affected customer data, system isolation information, and other distribution planning information during system emergencies.
Support Operations field staff on day-to-day tasks by providing gas network information, conducting compression coupling searches, and assisting with work order creation during regular business hours.
Who You Are
You possess a related university degree and 2 years of previous related experience (Operations or Engineering, preferred) OR 6+ years of related construction or operational training and/or experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Project coordinator experience and understanding of Distribution Operations procedures would be an asset.
A familiarity with Planning, Design & Records, Operation & Maintenance, and Construction drawings.
Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience in successful conflict resolution and leading multi-stakeholder projects.
Working understanding of Maximo, e-GIS, planning and records is desired.
Exposure to Asset Management systems and application of technical specifications; familiarity with pipeline asset records and design specifications is desired.
Business, industry and company knowledge to perform design analysis function effectively, recognizing impacts on capital dollars and understanding of Codes, Standards and Regulations is an asset.

Working Conditions
This role is comprised both office and field work, approximately 80% Office -20% Field, respectively. A valid class G drivers’ license and maintenance of a responsible driving record required.
This role requires participation in emergency on-call response covered on a 24 hour, 7-day rotating schedule to support field forces for system emergencies occurring anywhere across the entire EGI System.
