In this role, you will lead project development activities for technically sophisticated projects supporting throughout the planning, design, risk assessment, and project sanction of the project lifecycle. Focus will be in Liquid Pipelines, Gas Transmission, Power, Gas Distribution and Renewables as required.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the development of large, complex projects from conception to sanction by defining scope, schedule, and cost, while proactively identifying and managing risks.

  • Drive teams across the enterprise to deliver cost-competitive results.

  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with Business Development.

  • Embrace continuous improvement to enhance processes and increase efficiency.

Who You Are:

  • Engineering degree. Professional Engineering designation with APEGA.

  • Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in engineering design and project management for liquid and gas pipelines.

  • Effective communications skills related to leading and acting independently providing direction in a project team environment. This includes presentations to senior leadership.

  • Strong emotional awareness and ability to influence others in technical and project decisions.

  • Significant experience with cost estimating, contingency, risk evaluations, scheduling, and scoping of larger projects.

  • Ability to self-prioritize and tackle complex problems.

  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

  • Valid passport to work and travel between US and Canada.

  • 10% travel to regional offices or field sites.
