As a System Optimization Senior Advisor, you’ll operate at the crossroads of advanced analytics, large-scale energy infrastructure, and strategic decision-making. Your insights will shape how one of North America’s largest pipeline networks runs-driving efficiency, strengthening reliability, and delivering long-term value while supporting the energy transition. This mid-level role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex problem-solving, influences diverse collaborators, and wants to see their ideas translate into real-world operational impact.

What You Will Do:
- Participate and sponsor system-level optimization initiatives that improve efficiency, reliability, and economic performance across Enbridge’s pipeline network
- Build and apply advanced analytical and optimization models to guide capital planning, operating strategy, and market access decisions
- Translate complex technical analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders and cross-functional partners
- Identify emerging risks, constraints, and opportunities across the system - and proactively shape solutions
- Influence long-term strategy by connecting operational performance with commercial, regulatory, and market considerations
- Mentor and develop colleagues to contribute to a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement
Who You Are:
You have:
- 7+ years of experience solving complex optimization or systems problems in energy, utilities, infrastructure or adjacent industries in addition to having a bachelors degree in engineering, data science, mathematics or a related subject area
You can:
- Show strong modeling and analytical capabilities, with experience using tools such as Python, SAS or similar
- Offer intellectual curiosity, good judgement, and a track record of turning analysis into action
You are:
- An excellent written and verbal communicator who can influence decisions by communicating technical insights to non-technical partners
The following are considered assets:
- Postgraduate degree or advanced training in economics, engineering or analytics
- Experience working with large, interconnected systems or regulated environments
- Recognition as a subject matter authority or trusted advisor with your organization
Working Conditions:
- Work performed in a typical office environment with minimal travel

Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
