Nature of the work
In accordance with the policies and practices of the School Board and the regulations of the Ministère de l’Éducation (MEQ), the Principal must, on a daily basis, make administrative and pedagogical decisions pertaining to the school in order to foster the academic success of all students in accordance with the Education Act, the ETSB’s Commitment-to-Success Plan and policies.
The position entails, in particular, responsibility for the management of instructional and educational matters, human, financial, material and information resources, day care services and community relations.

• Demonstrated effectiveness as a classroom teacher and evidence of ongoing professional growth.
• Familiarity with the ETSB’s Commitment to Success Plan and its guiding principles, including the developmental approach and professional learning communities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain composure in high-stakes situations.

Interviews with selected candidates will be conducted on Wednesday, August 5th at the Central Offices in Magog.
