What will your typical day look like?

The Product Owner plays a critical role within the People Digital & Operations COE, supporting the successful implementation, operation, and ongoing optimisation of key People and Talent technology products. This role operates as a business and product-facing manager, accountable for understanding how assigned products function, representing business needs, translating requirements into actionable inputs for technology teams, and ensuring solutions are delivered, adopted, and sustainably operated. The role will drive value across the full product lifecycle - from delivery through to long‑term enhancement and sustainment. While the role carries strong ownership and accountability, it is not a technical configuration role.

Digital & Operations Product Owner

  • Act as the primary business representative for assigned People and Talent technologies advocating for People COE needs and user outcomes.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritise business requirements, pain points, and improvement opportunities.

Delivery & Solution Assurance

  • Partner with Technology, SMEs, Data Stewards and Business Product Owners to support solution design and enhancement delivery, ensuring alignment to business intent.
  • Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate readiness for release, and support defect triage and resolution.

Operational Ownership & Governance

  • Support the day‑to‑day operation of assigned products post‑implementation, ensuring operational readiness and stability.
  • Define and document standard operating procedures, ensuring support teams have the knowledge and resources to operate effectively.

Continuous Improvement & Change

  • Work with operations, support, and Change teams to identify opportunities for product, process, and experience improvements.
  • Partner with Change and Communications teams to support global change management, adoption, and stakeholder readiness.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Strong understanding of HR and Talent processes, policies, terminology, and best practices.
  • Experience working with enterprise HR technologies as a business/end‑user representative; SuccessFactors or Visier experience would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and improve user experience through technology.
  • Familiar with agile methodology
  • Proven stakeholder management, change management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with ability to manage complex workflows and dependencies.
