Description
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
The person occupying this position will function primarily as a Liaison Nurse and will be expected to perform the same duties and responsibilities associated with that role while simultaneously fulfilling the responsibilities of the AIS position. As a member of the Liaison Team, the incumbent will work collaboratively within the team and, in addition to their functions as Assistant Head Nurse or assistant to the immediate supervisor, will on occasion develop, implement, evaluate, and revise clinical tools and health care quality assessment tools.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
The nurse works in a multidisciplinary approach. Her/his role includes extended role functions.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q;
The candidate will be selected according to the local collective labor agreement (Letter of agreement number 2).
Language:
• Fluent in English and French;
• Fluency in Cree is an asset;
Other
• This position includes on-call periods;
