SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Person who performs work related to the management of human, financial and material resources or procurement. He/She assumes responsibilities related to the organization of work and the planning of the execution of complex work of an administrative nature such as the collection and analysis of data.

He/She may also be responsible for the administrative functioning of his/her community and sees to its internal and external relations. She is responsible for the activities of the housing administration.


SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
• Update managers twice per year with a list of events to celebrate in their department.
• Provide support to the managers in their organizational recognition events.
• Provide managers with options of gifts and a budget per employee.
• Assume the expenses for the celebrated employees’ gifts.
• Order and send the decorations and gifts for the events.
• Manage the pre-paid cards platform and ensure proper follow-ups with clients and supplier.
• Follow-up with the Executive Director for letter of recognition.
• Ensure the procedure is applied fairly and equally.
• Construction of a list of various contacts per community.
• Carries out other tasks usually assigned to an Administration Technician upon the request of her/his supervisor.


REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Must have a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in general administration, accounting and management techniques, office automation techniques or another appropriate college discipline from a school recognized by the competent ministry or a College Attestation (AEC) relevant to the field in question;
• A College Certificate in administrative techniques may also be considered.

Knowledge and Abilities:
• Good knowledge of administrative theory, systems, techniques and practices;
• Knowledge of the MSSS Network and administrative regulations is an asset;
• Good knowledge and ability in office computer applications ;
• Knowledge of Nomadis Platform system is an asset;
• Proactive;

• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken);
• Practical, attentive to detail and analytical;
• Sense of accountability, resourcefulness & vigilance;
• Creativity;
• Teamwork skills;
• Courtesy;
• Autonomous and flexible;

Language:
• Fluent in English;
• Fluency in French and Cree is an asset.
