SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Person who performs work related to personnel management, financial management, work organization and planning for the execution of complex administrative tasks by compiling and analyzing data.
This job title also includes the person who is responsible for the administrative operation of a department and who oversees the department's internal and external relations. She/he is responsible for the activities of the department's office personnel.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
• Receive, process, and submit requests received by the department for approval.
• Assist clients with transportation, accommodation, and meal reservations as needed.
• Receive, process, and forward client reimbursement claims.
• Assist clients in navigating the Quebec healthcare system or other locations as needed.
• Help plan, organize, and monitor the administrative work of your department;
• Collaborate in the creation, implementation, and operation of various administrative systems;
• Participate in the implementation, application, and/or operation of various administrative policies, procedures, and systems;
• Perform complex administrative tasks related to various administrative systems;
• Support various organizational working relationships, including collaboration and liaison, in order to achieve the organization's integrated and collaborative operating model;
• Participate in the organization and maintenance of documentation and information for their area of responsibility while applying established rules regarding confidentiality;
• Advise colleagues and provide them with the necessary support in a collaborative manner;
• Collaborate and communicate with all other staff for the benefit of users.
• Participate in meetings of various intra- and interdepartmental groups;
• Ensure that duties are performed in accordance with the organization's procedures and guidelines, as well as other applicable regulations, in order to provide quality services;
• Perform other duties typically assigned to an administrative technician at the request of their supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Must have a diploma of college studies with a specialization in Administrative Techniques or in an appropriate discipline from a school recognized by the ministère de l'Éducation du Loisir et du Sport;
• This job also includes persons who, after having acquired relevant experience, obtained a certificate of college studies in Administrative Techniques.
Experience:
• Two years of relevant experience;
Knowledge and Abilities:
• Knowledge of administrative theory, systems, techniques and practices;
• Knowledge of the MSSS Network and administrative regulations is an asset
• Be able to handle multiple files at the same time
• Be able to work under pressure;
• Be able to deal with contract management
• Be able to plan meetings, take minutes and communicate them
• Excellent communications skills (both written and spoken)
• Autonomous, practical, attentive to detail and analytical
• Sense of accountability, resourcefulness & vigilance
• Teamwork skills
• Well organized
Language:
• Fluent in English and French
• Fluency in Cree is an asset
OTHER
• Two tests will be administered: one of aptitudes and one of Microsoft Word/Excel/power point; the passing percentage is 70%.
• Possibility of rotation;
• Possibility to work on week end;
• Possibility of on-call.
