We are currently recruiting for a Bilingual Claims Supervisor to join our team in Montréal, Québec, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring a few days in the office per week.



The successful candidate will be responsible for supervision and quality oversight of claims settlements, and will support adjusters in performing administrative tasks, implementing strategy, and providing mentorship during file preparation, in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.

*This role requires frequent interactions in English and requires reading and preparing documents in English on a frequent basis.



Responsibilities:

  • Monitor adjusting practices of assigned team.
  • Examine policies and settle claims while maintaining claims costs and abiding by provincial licensing regulations.
  • Investigate, collect and analyze claims information.
  • Accurately record, report, and present files.
  • Work with Branch Manager to maintain client relations.
  • Maintain accurate billing and time and expense records.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify training requirements and monitor employee job satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of functional and technical experience in commercial auto claims.
  • Experience in property insurance, or related areas is an asset.
  • AMF license (personal and commercial).
  • Full professional proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Team player.
