JOB RESPONSABILITIES
  • General maintenance and repair of machinery, building equipment and accessories.
  • Read and understand manufacturer specifications, instruction manuals and diagrams.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots equipment failure.
  • Ensures regular maintenance of machines.
  • Diagnoses ad solves pneumatic and mechanical problems.
  • Completes maintenance and repair reports.
  • Participates in rebuilding equipment.
  • All other assigned tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong mechanical, plumbing and pneumatic skills.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Experience with process equipment in the food industry or similar is an asset.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Ability to climb ladders and use stepladders.
  • Able to frequently lift and carry 10 – 30 pounds.
SKILLS, ABILITIES NAND OTHER RECQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and priorities.
  • Must be able to take initiative to complete tasks and solve problems.

WORKPLACE
  • Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • 5 paid sick days.

We require a French and English speaking Production Supervisor to work effectively with our bilingual staff in Quebec.

Requested skills

  • University degree an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in personnel management and minimum of 3 years in human resources and purchasing
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French
  • Customer service approach is important
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle difficult situations
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 (ACCPAC) is an asset
  • Must be willing to work from our LaSalle office
