Description
Breakaway Fitness Ltd. is looking for two handymen to perform quality repairs, remodeling, and improvement tasks. This is a full-time and permanent position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing general handy work such as maintenance, minor installations, touch up patch and paint, changing lights and other repairs, and building maintenance
- Assisting with building mechanical and electrical maintenance requirements
- Basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, drains)
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Have good experience on drywall repairs and paint, floor and tiles repairs, etc.
- Building machinery inspections
- Test the functionality of the facility’s alarm and fire systems
- Answer urgent calls weeknights and weekends
- Outdoor building maintenance
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Job requirements:
- Valid Drivers license mandatory and clean driving record
- Set of own tools considered an asset
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, drywalling, and painting
- Knowledge of power tools
- Able to work safely and follow safety guidelines and protocols
- Positive and professional attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
