Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Transition Program Manager to lead the end-to-end transition of field services operations within a large-scale banking environment. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of transitioning field support functions (configuration, desktop support, branch technology services, disposition, warehousing/inventory mgmt.) from the incumbent service providers.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive Program Management expertise, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a solid understanding of banking technology environments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle of a field services transition program, from planning through execution and stabilization.
  • Oversee a team of Project Managers and Coordinators who are leading/working under the various program streams
  • Work with internal teams and the client to refine scope, deliverables, success criteria, and timelines
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams and dedicated team members throughout the transition to stand up the required field services
  • Manage third-party vendors and service providers to ensure alignment with transition goals and compliance with SLAs.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and inter-project impacts; develop and maintain risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, providing regular program updates, escalations, and performance reports.
  • Develop transition playbooks, training materials, and support documentation for seamless operational handoff.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and data security standards.
  • Monitor post-transition service performance to ensure continuity and identify opportunities for service improvement.


Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Program Management, with at least 3-5 years leading complex transition or transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience delivering programs in the banking or financial services sector, preferably with a focus on field services or infrastructure support.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, service delivery processes, and vendor management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and large, matrixed stakeholder groups.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • PMP or PgMP certification preferred; ITIL or equivalent service management certifications a plus.
