Technical Support Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Due to our growth, we are looking for a Technical Support Analyst who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of IT operations across Cogir sites in North America. This position is for a problem-solving professional who enjoys diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues while providing top-quality service to employees. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, while demonstrating initiative to address challenges creatively and effectively.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assess the needs of different sites and recommend IT solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various external partners to resolve on-site issues.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and resourcefulness, able to identify problems and develop solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Document all IT support activities and resolutions.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of computer hardware and software.
  • Maintain user productivity by ensuring proactive maintenance of IT assets.
  • Participate in IT service deployments and ensure that project objectives are achieved.
  • Provide remote IT support and coordinate with external service providers as needed.
  • Provide remote analysis, diagnosis and resolution of server, workstation, peripheral and network issues.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: College or university diploma in computer science or related field.
  • Experience: 5 in IT support in a multi-site environment.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint).
  • Understanding of networking principles (IP addressing, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with ITIL compliant ITSM tools (e.g. Zendesk, SysAid, ServiceNow, ManageEngine).
  • Knowledge of general IT controls and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Certifications: ITIL certification and other technology certifications are assets.
  • English proficiency essential and spoken and written bilingualism (French/English)
  • Valid driver's license required.
