POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Senior Capital Projects Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the internal management of strategic capital projects for the various properties under management and ensuring that each request complies with established internal procedures and controls.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Carry out reception of goods/services according to the instructions of external project managers
  • Complete the various KPI tables
  • Monitor the progress of projects
  • Perform other tasks related to supporting external project managers
  • Proceed with project closure
  • Process requests for budget changes, purchase orders or order receipts in the various systems
  • Receive and review purchase order requests and process them in the various systems
  • Track invoice payments with the payables department according to the terms specified by external project managers
  • Validate opening requests from suppliers selected by external project managers and process them according to the province where the work is carried out
  • Validate the approval of invoices received in collaboration with external project managers
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • DEP or DEC in administration, accounting or office management (an asset)
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Good command of the MS 365 suite
