POSITION DESCRIPTION:
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be attentive to customer needs during the meal
- Carry out the setup before opening
- Collaborate in the safety of residents and staff by ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in the dining room
- Collaborate with kitchen employees to ensure good teamwork
- Contribute and ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness of the dining room by taking on some household chores, in collaboration with the whole team
- Greet residents in the dining room and ensure their comfort
- Manage the team of servers in the dining room
- Participate in closing the dining room
- Participate in table service with your team of waiters
- Present the daily menus, the à la carte menu and answer residents' questions about food and cooking, in collaboration with colleagues in the kitchen
- Experience in personnel management
- knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset)
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in restoration
- Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset.
