POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Gouin Langelier Complex, located in Montreal North, close to all services and with easy access to public transportation, is currently seeking passionate individuals for the position of server/waitress to join our dining room team and ensure the continuity of services we provide to our seniors. Permanent part-time position, 24 hours per week, daytime hours and one weekend out of two.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards
- Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
- Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
- Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
- Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
- Perform other related duties
- Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
