POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Manoir Royal St-Eustache, a warm and welcoming private residence for seniors, is looking for its next employee to join the dining room team. Working in a residence is more than a job; it's a life experience. This is an opportunity to be recognized and valued, to participate in the continuous improvement of the service, and to make a significant difference in the daily lives of seniors! Permanent part-time position, 14 hours per week, day/evening shifts, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and one weekend out of two.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
- Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
- In cooperation with the kitchen staff, prepare daily and à la carte menus and answer residents' questions regarding meals and preparation
- Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
- Perform other related duties
- Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Good team player
- Knowledge of Master D
- Knowledge of senior living facilities, a major asset
