POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Located in the new Solar district in Brossard, Jazz Brossard is currently looking for a server to join our wonderful team.
This is a permanent, part-time, on-call position, between 7 and 10 hours per week, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, as well as weekends as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring the plates to the tables and offer personalized service
- Collaborate with kitchen employees to ensure good teamwork
- Manage reservations for residents' guests and ensure their comfort
- Perform other related duties
- Welcome residents to the dining room and ensure their comfort
- Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
- Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Experience in a large restoration's volume (an asset)
