POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Manoir Boisée Gagnon, a warm and welcoming private residence for seniors, has a Server/Waitress opportunity to fill a permanent part-time position! Working in a residence is more than just a job; it's a life experience. This is an opportunity to be recognized and valued, to participate in the continuous improvement of the service, and to make a significant difference in the daily lives of seniors! Permanent part-time position, between 10 and 15 hours per week, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, day and evening shifts, every other weekend or every weekend as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Offer the daily menu and take residents' orders appropriately.
- Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
- Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
- Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
- Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
- Perform other related duties
- Prepare the lunches and suppers for the Health Care department
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Good communication
