POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking Resident Care Attendants to contribute to the quality of life of our residents. The Resident Care Attendant ensures the comfort, well-being, safety, and general needs of residents by providing hygiene and comfort care.
Part-time position, night shifts, one weekend out of two.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer ringtones
- Assist and accompany residents in their travels
- Collaborate in maintaining the bond of trust with the families or loved ones of the residents as well as with the various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
- Ensure the accompaniment of residents to activities, the dining room and appointments at the home
- Notify the nurse and/or the person in charge of health services of any changes observed in the state of health of the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- Assist the nursing staff in tasks that require no hands-on care of the resident
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Flexibility for the work schedule

- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
