POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located in the heart of downtown St-Bruno, Jazz St-Bruno is delighted to welcome a wonderful clientele, both independent and those experiencing a loss of autonomy.

Your contribution will allow us to offer a safe environment and a high quality of life to our residents. Come make a difference in the lives of our seniors and join us! We are currently seeking talented and caring caregivers to join our dynamic team. Permanent part-time positions, between 24 and 32 hours per week, evenings from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and all weekends.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
  • Proactively assist and support the residents
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PSAP Diploma
  • Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
  • PDSB training
  • Hold competency 6 recognized by the ministry (mandatory)
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years experience
  • Knowledge of residences for the elderly, a major asset
