Château Sainte-Marie, a welcoming seniors' residence located in the heart of the Beauce region, offers stable work schedules, a healthy environment, and friendly management :) We are currently seeking a person to fill a part-time evening resident care attendant position. ** Completed AP/RPA training or DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home, or 5000-hour RAC (Recognition of Acquired Competencies) **
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: Part-time evening position with one weekend out of two
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
