Le Manoir des Générations, a welcoming private seniors' residence located in Rimouski, is seeking a person to fill a part-time resident care attendant position (day/evening shifts). ** Completed AP/RPA training or DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home **
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: 7/14 day/evening shifts with the possibility of additional hours
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
- PDSP training
- AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
