POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our welcoming Villa de Chicoutimi residence is currently seeking a talented and caring LPN for a 6-month temporary position.
Full-time day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., one weekend out of two.
24 hours / 32 hours per week.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- Ease in the use of computer tools
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Member of the OIIAQ
