POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Helper assists the Head Chef and cooks in their duties. They will participate in the preparation of cold dishes and desserts, cut and peel vegetables and fruits, plate dishes, prepare meal carts, and assist the rest of the team with the maintenance of equipment and the kitchen. This is a casual position, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Salary: $19.01/hour to $20.49/hour
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble plates of food
- Clean kitchen equipment
- Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
- Peel and cut vegetables for meals

- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
