POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for coordinating the activities of the housekeeping staff, managing requisitions, and ensuring the security of the buildings at all times. They perform various tasks related to building maintenance and the management of maintenance and renovation projects.
Day shift, 40 hours per week and weekends as needed (emergency calls)
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain property areas and systems
- Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
- All other related tasks
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Show apartments to prospective tenants and collect the rents of existing tenants
- Supervise the maintenance of the equipment
- High school diploma (SSD)
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
