POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Manoir Outremont Residence is a welcoming residence located in the heart of Montreal. It is thanks to our strong teamwork and diligence that we can offer a healthy and safe living environment to all our residents. We are currently seeking an experienced, resourceful, and talented Maintenance Attendant for a permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
- Good team player
- Good communication
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
