Description
Les Jardins Champfleury, a friendly private seniors' residence located in Limoilou, is looking for someone to fill a part-time weekend kitchen helper position. Under the supervision of the Head Chef, the kitchen helper assists the chef and cooks in their duties, participates in the preparation of cold dishes and desserts, cuts and peels vegetables and fruits, plates meals, prepares meal carts, and participates in the maintenance of equipment and the kitchen with the rest of the team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday (11 hours/week)
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble plates of food
- Clean kitchen equipment
- Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
- Peel and cut vegetables for meals
- Good team player
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
