POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility's common areas and resident units.

This is a permanent part-time position, weekdays only (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • All other related tasks
  • Carry out the maintenance of the premises in accordance to a regular reocurring schedule or as required
  • Cleaning and performing maintenance duties
  • Keep the work environment clean
  • Make service calls
  • Sweep and clean the floors of the corridors, common areas and workstations of the building
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience
  • Excellent physical shape
