POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The St. Joseph Hospital House provides a home for the nuns who, in the past, primarily worked at the Hôtel-Dieu. We are currently seeking a Heavy Cleaning Attendant to fill a part-time position, 16 hours per week, for weekends only (Saturday and Sunday) from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The schedule may vary depending on vacation coverage.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • All other related tasks
Construction
  • Clean entryways and common areas
  • Maintain and clean the premises
  • Maintenance and cleaning of the lobby and corridors
  • Sweep and clean the floors of the corridors, common areas and workstations of the building
  • Taking out the trash
  • Wash windows in common areas
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
  • Knowledge of senior living residences is a major asset.
  • Minimum experience in a similar position, at least 1 to 2 years
