POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Résidence Le Clair Matin, by Cogir Real Estate, is looking for a colleague to join its dedicated team as a dining room server. Permanent part-time position, 18 hours every two weeks, days and evenings from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., as well as weekends.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
  • Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
  • Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
  • In cooperation with the kitchen staff, prepare daily and à la carte menus and answer residents' questions regarding meals and preparation
  • Perform other related duties
  • Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexibility for the work schedule
  • knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset)
  • 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
  • Experience in high-volume catering
  • Knowledge of senior living residences is a major asset
