POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Havre des Cantons residence offers a friendly and stimulating work environment. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent seniors and those experiencing mild loss of autonomy. Daytime hours, 10 to 15 hours per week, one weekend out of two.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
- Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
- In cooperation with the kitchen staff, prepare daily and à la carte menus and answer residents' questions regarding meals and preparation
- Perform other related duties
- Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff
- Flexibility for the work schedule
- knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset)
- Customer service experience an asset
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
