Le Jazz Ste-Foy, a friendly private seniors' residence, is looking for someone to fill a full-time cook position from June to September, with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: 35 hours/week, daytime hours, must work weekends

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing kitchen employee schedules
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Create tasty menus while respecting the expected level of quality and the allocated budget
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Perform inventory duties, receive and store food for the kitchen
- Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen
- Take inventory of service materials and while adhering to the budgets, proceed with procurement if necessary
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Flexibility for the work schedule
