POSITION DESCRIPTION:


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be available to respond to emergencies
  • Carry out minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, painting, changing lights, various installations, etc.)
  • Carry out site maintenance according to the frequency provided for this purpose or when required
  • Clean and perform the tasks inherent in the maintenance of floors and carpets in common areas
  • Clear snow or salt exterior entrances
  • Collaborate or perform any other tasks related to the maintenance service, as needed and at the request of the immediate superior
  • Distribution of communications to tenants
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the building's entrances and common areas
  • Ensuring security and compliance with building regulations
  • Inform the immediate superior of the needs for materials and products for the maintenance and upkeep of the building
  • Knowledge of fire safety rules
  • Knowledge of plumbing and electricity
  • Knowledge of ventilation system
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Maintain property spaces and systems
  • Maintain the land, indoor parking, storage spaces
  • Other Related Tasks
  • Perform service calls
  • Preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Removing snow and ice from sidewalks
  • Wash the windows at the main and secondary entrances
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum relevant experience of 1 to 2 years
  • DEP in general building maintenance (an asset)
