POSITION DESCRIPTION:
A welcoming seniors' residence located in Montreal is currently seeking a Maintenance Attendant for a permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, daytime hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and one weekend out of two.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position (required)
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
