POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Manoir Les Générations residence in Rimouski is currently seeking an empathetic Resident Attendant who is concerned about the well-being of residents. The Resident Attendant ensures the comfort, well-being, safety, and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care.
More specifically, your daily work with us will include:
Assisting and accompanying residents with their movements
Notifying the nurse and/or the health services manager of any changes observed in the residents' health
Contributing to the adjustment of the residents' intervention plan through their observations
Respecting and promoting proactive care for residents
Complying with standards and regulations in accordance with the certification of private seniors' residences and employer policies
Providing a range of health and hygiene care in Respecting the integrity and dignity of residents, in collaboration with the team
Responding to all emergency situations

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering call bells
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Delivering messages to the nursing staff
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Provide healthcare and wellness services to maintain and restore residents health and to help prevent illness
- Respond to all emergency situations
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- PDSB training
- Law 90 training
