Experienced Full Stack Application Developer with over five (5) years of hands-on experience in application development. Capable of following the Software Development Life Cycle to design, develop, document, test, and support a variety of applications. Research, recommend, and implement software solutions to support business goals and growth. Committed to ensuring IT applications meet the needs of clients by delivering new or enhanced system functionality and providing ongoing system maintenance and support.
Ability to translate client ideas into well-defined business requirements. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Brings strong analytical, technical and business acumen in addition to excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using .NET 6 (or later), leveraging the benefits of .NET Core.
- Build responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue), HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, Microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
- Collaborate on the design of robust databases (preferably Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle) and craft efficient queries and stored procedures.
- Create interactive, insightful dashboards and reports using modern reporting tools and technologies.
- Provide help desk support to internal clients by troubleshooting data, application, and middleware issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design comprehensive system architectures, and develop detailed technical specifications.
- Contribute to the development of test plans and test cases and ensure quality execution of testing and reporting of results.
- Engage in continuous integration and deployment practices using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Collaborate with IT staff, stakeholders and vendors for management of ongoing system support and work requests, ensure quality and timely implementations into production, and participate in various forums and meetings as required.
- Comply with all Information Technology service levels, change and version control, systems development methodology, standards, policies, audit and financial controls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Application Development.
- Proficiency in front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue), along with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Strong experience with back-end development using .NET (preferably .NET 6 or later) and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with alternative back-end languages (Python, Node.js) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools such as Docker is a plus.
- iOS Mobile development using Swift and Xcode.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in conceptualization, requirements definition, design, and delivery of systems.
- Previous experience delivering complex .NET web-based applications, web services, and REST APIs.
- In-depth knowledge of database design, data modeling, and performance tuning in Microsoft SQL Server; expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with GIS solutions and APIs (ESRI, WFS/WMS, Google Maps APIs) for geospatial components.
- Experience integrating with modern peripheral devices (barcode scanners, RFID readers, etc.).
- Prior experience in the public sector or familiarity with governmental IT environments.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 49.16 - $ 65.54 / $ 89,464.00 - $ 119,286.00
