Join our team as a Warranty Analyst where your technical expertise and leadership will directly influence the reliability and performance of our transit fleet.
You’ll lead warranty efforts, drive cross-functional collaboration, and develop strategies that protect our operations-ensuring we stay on the road, efficient, and ahead of the curve. • Be the Warranty Expert: Analyze root causes of failure, assess progressive damage, and ensure accurate and timely filing of warranty claims across major OEM systems (e.g., New Flyer, Nova Bus / Prevost, Cummins, ZF, Voith, Mann).
• Drive Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps and lead initiatives that enhance warranty workflows, maintenance procedures, and fleet protection strategies.
• Lead and Guide: Provide strategic direction to maintenance and stockroom supervisors and ensure alignment with warranty protocols and organizational goals.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with maintenance, engineering, fleet design, and procurement teams to align specifications, repairs, and parts ordering with warranty objectives.
• Report What Matters: Use tools like SAP, Tableau, Power BI, and EAM systems to analyze data and present meaningful insights on claims, cost trends, and fleet impact.
• Train and Develop: Lead training efforts and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen team capabilities and ensure compliance with OEM guidelines.
• Education & Experience: A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration (or equivalent experience) plus 2-3 years in the bus, automotive, or industrial sectors.
• Warranty Know-How: Experience with warranty administration, maintenance procedures, and OEM certification requirements.
• Technical Prowess: Comfortable with software like Faster Fleet Management, SAP, and other asset management platforms. You understand how data drives decisions.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience guiding teams and influencing operations with confidence and clarity.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong organizational and analytical skills to interpret complex data and solve real-world problems.
• Certifications: OEM-specific certifications (e.g., from New Flyer, Nova, Cummins, Thermo King) are an asset.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 78,602.00 - $ 104,806.00
