Fall 2025 Co-op: Visual Designer (8 months)

Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Visual Designer to help market new and existing services for our Global Technology Operations Business Unit. You will work closely with Service Owners, Alliance Managers, Senior Leadership and other key stakeholders to assist in taking our services and offerings to market. Once a solution, a service or alliance has been designed/created, you will participate in creating the marketing, communications and sales collateral to get the products and services into the market.

Our ideal Visual Designer leads with client centric design thinking and thinks about service or product marketing as an end-to-end process. The ideal candidate will have digital design experience and sales enablement experience to participate in the creation of the sales collateral and underlying strategies that will help our client facing sales teams learn how to sell/position and articulate the value proposition of our services.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Visual Designer owns the visual design and development of service marketing and sales collateral as a discipline, sharing responsibility for creating content with the Sales Enablement Team, Service Owners, Business Engineers, and Business Strategists. You’ll support and provide oversight on all aspects of Service Creation, as well as leading our sales and marketing collateral design activities.

Our Visual Designer is:

- Engaging while interviewing and collaborating with service owners, working with fellow team members and client facing teams
- A creative at heart
- A visual and verbal storyteller, delivering insights in a way that creates empathy, emotion, and engagement with our clients, our sales teams and our service owners
- Comfortable in the ambiguity of early-stage services marketing activity
- Ready to collaborate on products and services that change the way our clients do business
- Passionate about enhancing digital buying experiences that fuse the physical and digital through research, analytics, design and delivery

The Visual Designer will:

- Develop visualizations graphics to articulate our service value propositions and overall strategy
- Develop and design sales and marketing assets for Services and Product offerings
- Create and design infographics
- Create and design elements for PowerPoint presentations (external - market facing)
- Creation and design of elements for strategic business presentations (internal)
- Collaborate with our business strategists, and alliance managers to understand user and business needs, identify design opportunities, and create meaningful buying experiences
- Create artifacts that articulate service design, features and functionality (spec and sell sheets)
- Participate in the recording and editing of short form videos

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Bachelor’s degree in a creative field or equivalent
- 1+ year professional experience in a related role or at least 1 co-op term in the past
- 2+ years in digital design and creating marketing/sales assets or related coursework
- Experience with user-centered design processes
- Skilled in cross-functional communication (services, sales, leadership)
- Strong portfolio of creative work

Proficiency with the following tools:

- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Apple Final Cut Pro or comparable video editing application
- FIGMA
- MS PowerPoint
- MS Word
- WordPress

Professional Attributes:

- Ability to learn quickly
- Self-starter who can work with and facilitate Subject Matter Experts
- Independent thinker, not afraid to share their Point of View and perspectives
- Accustomed to working collaboratively with internal clients, and cross-functional team members and stakeholders
- Willingness to continue learning new skills and constantly grow

Great to have experience:

- Marketing experience with a Professional Services firm
- Product Marketing experience with a SaaS organization
- Sales Enablement experience with a SaaS organization
- Marketing experience with a Public Cloud provider or Marketplace
