COMPASS and Addiction Services are seeking a full-time contract (12 months), Clinical Operations Coordination Leader who will be critical in the operation and coordination of both clinical and administrative functions of COMPASS and other addiction services as required. The position will largely support operations in the Rapid Assessment Addictions Medicine (RAAM) Clinic, Virtual RAAM Clinic, Fit-In Clinic, Addictions Consult Service, and Day Detox, with possible involvement with supporting other areas in COMPASS and Addictions Program. Reporting to the Clinical Director of Addictions, with accountabilities to the Manager of the services your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The Clinical Operations Coordination Leader will assist with the monitoring of operating costs, budgets and resources; create reports, maintain websites, analyze and interpret data; support staff compliance with CAMH policies and procedures and quality and safety initiatives; and, coordinate and assist with recruitment and performance review processes.

You will contribute to staff development by promoting and ensuring a supportive/collaborative learning environment within the Acute Care Program based on the principles of adult learning and standards administrative and clinical staff, students and ancillary staff; performing human resources responsibilities; liaising with members of the inter-professional team to ensure high standards of quality and management of patient care outcomes; performing cross-functional; and/or other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned or requested. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare. A Masters in a healthcare field is preferred. Previous supervisory/management experience is preferred. Three (3) years of recent, related leadership experience and knowledge of intake, scheduling as well as the concurrent disorder populations is advantageous. Familiarity with financial and operational practices, knowledge of data analysis, computer proficiency, strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills is beneficial.

You will have demonstrated knowledge and experience of mental health and addiction systems and an understanding of service delivery across diverse patient populations. You will have proven knowledge and experience in concurrent disorders and a commitment to client and family centred care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), the ability to work effectively within a dynamic inter-professional team are essential to the role. You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) and ICARE. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
