The CAMH Simulation Centre, embedded in Education at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), is seeking a full-time, permanent CH&E Coordinator (Simulation Coordinator). The CAMH Simulation Centre is North America’s first accredited simulation centre focused on teaching, research and quality improvement at all levels of mental health education. The CAMH Simulation Centre is made up of an interprofessional team of clinicians, educators, researchers and evaluators, working to enhance the quality of mental health care through innovative modalities and research.

Reporting to the Manager, CAMH Simulation Centre & Customer Service De-escalation Training, the CH&E Coordinator (Simulation Coordinator) will be responsible for tracking and improving CAMH Simulation Centre processes, coordinate all internal and external Simulated Participant (SP) bookings, coordinate live virtual and in-person simulations, as well as asynchronous simulation offerings on the CAMH Global Learning Academy. The CH&E Coordinator (Simulation Coordinator) will track the implementation of specific project deliverables, and will identity and trouble shoot operational issues that arise in the implementation of projects and outputs. Simulation Coordinators will be responsible for developing schedules for training delivery, tracking training program completion requirements, coordinating educational events (e.g. symposiums) and developing promotional packages for increased online and conference visibility.

The Simulation Coordinator will foster relationships with and bring together key stakeholders across CAMH and external partners who use simulation as a modality to promote teaching, learning and enhanced client-care. Working closely with partners such as lived experience advisors, clinical subject matter experts, researchers, evaluation specialists, digital learning specialists and external vendors, the Simulation Coordinator role requires authentic and collaborative approaches to partnerships, rooted in equitable and anti-oppressive practices.
