What you’ll do

Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned to but they may include:

External Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of external and legal entity financial documents for regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.

• Support data validation and accuracy in compliance with financial reporting standards

• Collaborate with internal reporting teams to ensure alignment of internal reports with external and legal entity disclosures

Student, SCM Operations Category Management

• System administration and maintenance

• Drafting legal agreements and amendments

• Data analysis and visualization

Student, Data & IT Vendor Management

• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of IT software, hardware, cloud, SaaS, and data subscriptions, including proactive renewal planning, new product and service requests, and coordination to prevent service interruptions

• Support the administration of IT contracts and software licensing, including participation in negotiations, reviewing schedules and Statements of Work, managing contract changes, and assisting with annual licensing assessments

• Maintain accurate vendor, contract, inventory, and budget data, producing clear reporting and insights that support operational planning, compliance, and IT leadership decision‑making

Commercial Transactions

• Prepare daily, weekly & monthly invoicing and account reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

Commercial & Development Pipelines & Terminals (HMGP)

• Assist in financial analysis, business case development, and economic modeling to support commercial initiatives

• Working closely with Commercial & Development Advisors to prepare presentations, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).

• Available to begin work in September 2026.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel.

• Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills.

Education

• Must be enrolled in a Business Undergraduate Program (Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Marketing areas preferred) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.

• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.

• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
